[B] Scope of Service:
Vendor needs to provide software maintenance and development services for the organization effective vaccine management web and mobile tool.
• Management of a country’s entire EVM2 environment can be performed by a single national manager, reducing the need for external support.
• Setting up an EVM assessment no longer needs to be completed for every assessment. Once a country has configured EVM2 with their current vaccine schedule and list of health facilities, any number of EVM assessments can be created.
• Using the EVM app on mobile devices makes data collection easier and quicker and ensures that the data collected is complete and error-free.
• Role-based access to the EVM system means that countries retain full control of who can do what. Managers can have national or sub-national access, with full or read-only permissions and Assessors are designated on a per-country basis and are assigned only relevant facilities to assess.
• Integration with the cold chain equipment Devices Catalogue reduces the need for assessors to complete complex calculations such as gross and net storage capacity of refrigerators and cold rooms. The performance, quality and safety process prequalify products and devices so that member states and UN purchasing agencies are assured of their suitability for use in their immunization programs.
• By hosting the EVM2 software and database, shoulders the burden of IT support, reducing the administrative overhead placed on countries.
